Without exception every person in his conscious has a desire to help some other person. This instinct of a wish to help others; probably is the main difference in men and rest of the animal kingdom. In nature, we do not see one animal helping other fellow animal in general. There could be few incidences as an exception of course.
It is this inherent nature of human being which makes him social in nature. Thus, our society has a two way system. On one side we get many things like; money concept, clothing concept etc. from the society. And on the other side each individual is contributing in some or the other form to enrich the society. That helps and facilitates cultural and social development.
But there are few unfortunate or less fortunate persons who apparently look like non-contributing elements. Amongst such less fortunate are mentally challenged. It is the moral responsibility of so called normal people that we give ample and right opportunity to mentally disable to prove themselves worthy. They are not the self advocates. They will not ask you for any thing; neither will they complain about any thing in particular. But is it not our responsibility to understand and realize their needs?
This is where organizations like Sandnya Sanwardhan Sanstha have an important role to perform. On one side, we try to give ample and appropriate opportunities for learning to mentally challenged, and on the other side; we offer an opportunity to general members of the population to fulfil their inherent desire of helping some one who is less fortunate and the medium is SSS.
Let us remember; YOU HAVE NOT LIVED AS A HUMANBEING AS LONG AS YOU HAVE NOT DONE SOMETHING FOR SOME ONE WHO CAN NEVER REPAY YOU.
